 Crossing that swinging bridge in the NC mountains is scary for a little girl (and the big one too)

 Falling on those rocks, scraping knees and hands brings on the tears 

  and a need for a hug from Mommy.

My Mother did love this little girl and could hardly

wait to get hold of her and hug her. But then

she loved every single one of her grandchildren

with unconditional love, just as she did her own children.

Vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains ..

Cherokee, NC

I would never recommend taking

a six month old baby on vacation

to the mountains in the heat of July.

Scenery was beautiful, but was way too

much riding & walking for a baby.

Just too much stress on all concerned.

I was SO SO glad to get back home.
